Fall Golf Tournament

This year we plan to be more proactive with our tournament, and we need your help to make that happen. Last year we waited until…oh, five minutes after the last second before we knew we had enough teams. That’s really tough on The Hollows course, the sponsors, and the people planning it! So, please let us know ASAP if you’re participating in the golf tournament this year, either bringing a team, sponsoring a hole or green or cart, donating gifts, or any other function. Fortunately, we’ve had some early verbal commitments from many - including John Walker Sales, Carotec, and EMC - and I thank those people.
This year, we’ll also be adding two new contests to give more people more chances to win more stuff!

What you would do is buy a 3 foot piece of string for $15. Then, when you’re, say, a foot away from the cup, you can use 1 foot of your string and say you made that shot. Used wisely and sparingly, it can really bring scores down and make the final tally more interesting.
The maximum amount of teams we can have it 15. There’s no reason we can’t do that this year! It would bring in roughly $1000 more profit for the chapter than the 12 or 13 teams we had last year (FYI our net last year was $2387.02). Even at our newer rates, it’s still one of the most inexpensive tournaments around! (We know, we’ve checked!)
